Trying luck at Asakusa Kannon Temple (Sensôji)

Posted by Godo (Barcelona, Spain) on 15 March 2010 in Lifestyle & Culture and Portfolio.

At Buddhist temples is common to see what luck you have. First you move a container of wooden sticks with a notice and you pick one. Then you open a drawer that has the same entry and you take out a sheet that tells you the fate.
The Sensôji is the intellectual and structural center of the city district Asakusa, which was the largest nightclub district of the city for a long time, to this day.
